To mitigate risk by managing Mining & Resources Finance transactions in accordance with relevant approvals and transaction documents from implementation to termination. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional service to stakeholders by ensuring that transactions are managed and accounted for in accordance with legal agreements, relevant legislation and that deal activities are executed by following agreed business process
  • Manage team, and ensure staff understand their role, the products and deals they management, the systems they utilise and the processes they need to adhere to
  • Maintain a diverse high performing team through sound recruitment, staff retention and motivation, talent management and performance management practices
  • Build trusting relationships with stakeholders through consistent and timeous communication, adherence to requirements (systems and procedures) and evidencing an understanding of transactions, processes & systems
  • Ensure that transactions are accurately loaded and maintained on support systems and that deal related activities are accurately executed
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes when managing deals and executing transaction activities (e.g. cash flows, rate resets, document lodging, invoicing, collateral management)
  • Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees
  • Preferred Qualification

  • CA(SA) / BCom in Finance / Accounting or similar
