Position in the organisationReports to Financial Director of EFG Subordinates / Co-worker : None Primary objective : Responsible for the development and coordination of risk management programes and ensuring that risk management programes are designed to identify risk exposures at a process level.

Perform regular risk and control self-assessment to determine the residual risk which must be controlled by means of internal control measures.

Through the proper implementation of risk assessment programes, management can be provided with accurate risk information for effective decision-making on internal controls.

Collect risk information and draft reports to management on losses and risk exposures.DutiesPeople1.Communicate with all employees, management and other stakeholders.

2.Be part of and contribute to a team of people.Responsibilities1.Designing and implementing an overall risk management framework process for Efficient Group and its subsidiaries (Efficient), which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur,2.

Preparing risk management and combined assurance plan and budget,3.Performing a risk assessment : Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company4.

Prepare action plans to decrease risk factors5.Review and update the Groups Risk appetite and tolerance framework,6.Risk reporting to the Board, Audit and Risk Committee and the Group Management Board.

  • 7.Educating the board of directors and management about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments;
  • ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks,8.Explaining the external risk posed by to stakeholders9.

    Creating and maintaining business continuity plans to limit risks10.Implementing health and safety measures in accordance with relevant legislation11.

    Conducting policy and risk audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors,12.Manage Efficient s insurance coverage plan, which as a minimum includes i.

    asset insurance, ii.

    personal indemnity insurance, iii.

    directors and officers insurance and iv.

    cyber insurance, and budget.

    13.Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims,14.Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals and identifying underlying risks and propose mitigating measures, 15.

    Involvement with business or product development / proposal processes working closely with relevant teams and providing guidance on risk management 16.

    Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company, 17.Responsible for the facilities management, including security arrangements, of the properties owned by Efficient.

    18.Ad hoc risk assessments TechnologyImplement and maintain a Risk Management system to support management with risk management within Efficient.

    Job Evaluation CriteriaFormal EducationRelevant business related 3-year degree.Experience : 6-8 years relevant experience after qualification.

    Critical CompetenciesKnowledgeUnderstanding of a regulatory environment and ability to interpret and apply technical rules in a practical way.
