Education :

  • Formal Master of Business Administration degree recognized by SAQA (proof in a copy of this certificate)
  • Formal Supply Chain degree ( NQF 8) recognized by SAQA (please provide a copy on the application for this role)
  • Scope of work :

  • Lead information-gathering sessions with ICT technical team and key stakeholders.
  • Establish the type of document to develop in line with Company CLS processes and confirm the template
  • to be used (i.e. Business Case, Request for modification of the contract, or request for a deviation from the normal tender process).
  • Assist the Vendor management office in developing an ICT procurement-related proposal structure in line with SCM policies and procedures.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
  • Re-write / edit ICT documents responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from all stakeholders.
  • Coach ICT SMEs and VMO team in writing compelling business cases.
  • Present all-new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for potential re-use.
  • Help create presentations in graphic and / or visual format for proposals.
  • Assist the IT VMO with vendor evaluation and selection criteria, procedures, and best-practice tools and templates.
  • Assist IT, staff, when negotiating with vendors to optimize the procurement of cost-effective acquisitions.
  • Direct and manage the entire IT procurement practices : methods, procedures, purchasing, sourcing, inventory, cost analysis, and productivity.
  • Plan and execute strategies that will deliver cost, quality, and service improvement for the Company.
  • Evaluate, make recommendations, and develop and execute the Companys IT purchasing policies and procedures for the implementation of standards that represent the best purchasing methods.
  • Ensures that requirements are well-communicated and well-understood, and clearly defines expectations from the ICT SMEs and business units.
  • Define review timelines for the development of the business case and communicate the timelines to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate review process with relevant stakeholders
  • Attend critical CLS stakeholder management meetings as per VMO processes.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and the VMO team to ensure the business case development process is in line with VMO, SME, and CLS requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement.
  • Support SME in the presentation of the ICT proposals to the Tender Committee (TC) as and when required.
  • Providing inputs to reporting dashboards outlining the status of all ICT proposals submitted to TC.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines
  • Perform and / or manage other projects, tasks, and assignments not stipulated on the Job description
