You will be involved in the application design of (LightSenseTM )()products. The LightSenseTM products are focussed on leading-edge personal & *recreational LED lighting*.

You will design and develop ideas for new products, with a focus a feature rich product, to fit into a mechanical design, paying attention to considerations for a high-volume production, and further support the product during production.

A cradle to grave concept is followed. Embedded MCU programming of controlled systems. Application development, product design, prototype evaluation, test development and product release.

Client interface and support of an international customer base. Clients include international clients such as Black Diamond, Princeton Tec and Streamlight.

Education Level : *B.Eng Electronics, M.Eng Electronics degree (*must have very good academic results) or *Mechatronics* graduates who specialised in electronic subjects like electronic design.

Years experience : *1-6 years practical experience* *Skills Required : * High level of innovative thinking as well as an analytical approach to problem solving.

Analogue and digital design and debug skills. *Embedded microprocessor development experience (e.g. Microchip PIC)* is advantageous as well as working in 3D CAD programs.

The candidate must be a self-motivated, be able to plan their own work and carry projects from start to finish. The candidate must enjoy innovative and detailed technical development work and be comfortable working in a highly skilled team environment.
