Our client in the Umhlanga area is offering a one year learnership progamme, to dynamic individuals who will be responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient administration and co-
ordination of Human Resource and Payroll administration.
Support the integrity, accuracy and efficiency of our HR systems and processes.
Request and gather payroll related information required for processing by the relevant deadline dates in line with the processing month.
Ensure the correct documentation is completed for audit purposes.
Process payroll information accurately with no errors as per monthly timeframes.
VIP Payroll, HR and ESS
Accurately update the VIP system with employee and system changes when required.
Extract reports for reporting purposes and analyse when required.
Ensure all relevant forms, checklists and processes are completed during the starter and termination process.
Responsible for maintaining HR records / personnel files and general HR filing.
Assist with the preparation of employment contracts and remuneration letters.
Provide assistance with the year-end audit.
Plan and co-ordinate HR activities such as communication sessions, recruitment, induction and training.
Compile payment requisitions and ensure payments are processed within agreed timeframes.
Assist with the administration of the company Employee Benefits e.g. medical aid and provident fund.
Assist with the administration of the company long service awards.
Collate routine and ad-hoc HR reports.
Ensure queries are resolved timeously.
Assist with the coordination and planning of company events and team building initiatives.
Appropriately schedule meetings / training as requested, ensuring meeting rooms are booked and refreshments are arranged when required.
Ensure that attendance registers are available and completed.
Assist with administration relating to the BBBEE process.
Provide support for HR projects and other HR initiatives.
Provide general support and assistance to the HR Team.
Assist with planning wellness events.
Assist with the processes relating to the company Recognition Program.
Support the administration of the performance management process.
Assist with sourcing CVs when required.
Conduct reference checks on shortlisted candidates.
Liaise with the service provider to arrange for references, credit, criminal and qualification checks for shortlisted candidates.
Schedule interviews with candidates / agencies and HR / Managers.
Schedule assessments for shortlisted candidates.
National diploma in HR or studying towards a recognised Human Resources Degree / Diploma is a requirement for application.
