Our client is a fish processing company that import and export seafood products from and to various countries worldwide.
They would like to appoint a Quality Control Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the Food Safety system is implemented, maintained and improved.
Only candidates with relevant quality control experience in the fish / meat and or poultry fields should apply.The successful candidate should have a ND / Degree in Food Technology, Consumer Science or BsC in Food Science.
Any additional qualifications in Quality Control and / or Food Safety advantageous; HACCP knowledge advantageous and Internal Auditing training advantageous.
The person should have strong leadership skills and should be young, vibrant, a go-getter and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and time management skills are essential.
Other requirements : - Computer literate (Excel, Word & Microsoft)- Own transport- minimum 3 years related experience (management of staff)- FMCG experience advantageous
