Our client, a leading pump supply company in South Africa is looking for a Technical Salesperson to join
their team. Candidates must be able to keep up to date on market trends and opposition activities as well as provide controls to ensure that the Sales function / s is effective in order to ensure that profit margins and sales growth is achieved.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales, Tenders / Quotations
Corrective Action, Preventive Action
Customer : contracts, orders, complaints, account queries, quotes, problem solving, feedback
Check pumps on site and commission pumps,
Attend all meetings and site meetings
Read drawings and make necessary adjustment where needed
Costing of jobs
Project planning with manager / rep concerned
Reports & Meetings
Researches and prepares reports and statistics in respect to monthly reports, management meetings, product line reporting, management review meetings and training plans as needed.
Work with consultants, customers and appropriate sources to market our products and services to become the supplier of choice for process equipment.
Assist with developing and implementing supply chain initiatives which may improve our competitive position within the market.
Liaise with overseas organizations both within and outside the company to build industry and product
Assist with the implementation of strategies and programs designed to improve Quality Assurance, Environmental, Health and Safety objectives.
Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time.
