SunCom (Matie Shop) Graphic Designer (Fashion) (Ref. SC / 202 / 0719) The Matie Shops sell clothing, corporate gifts and relevant merchandise.
It also offers copying, printing, binding, and other services. The Matie Shop is the custodian of all University brands and therefore works closely with the Corporate Communication Division to ensure that the brand’s integrity and consistency is always maintained.
The purpose of the role is to conceptualise and execute creative designs in order to build and maintain a fashionable and trendy clothing range for the Matie Shop that is also aligned with the University’s Vision 2040 and corporate brand identity.
This position mainly involves graphic design in a retail environment. The ideal candidate has to be fashion conscience, understand production processes, take initiative and forecast trends.
The candidate needs to have an in-depth understanding of lines, textures, size and shape to ensure optimum balance, alignment and proximity.
