Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required :

  • Minimum educational level of Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position.
  • Familiar with legislation, with emphasis on current developments in BCEA, LRA and EEA.
  • Proficient on MS Office software.
  • English proficiency essential.
  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Brief Description of Key Performance Areas :

    Recruitment

  • Monitor vacancies and recruitment requirements through internal processes.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews according to prescribed procedures taking cognizance of relevant and current legislation.
  • Ensure vacancies advertised adhere to company policy and procedures and are in accordance with current legislation.
  • Draft internal vacancy advertisement ensuring correct specification and place on internal notice boards within 24 hours of receipt
  • Update Amrod website with current vacancies within 24 hours of receipt
  • Update Recruitment list to ensure all information is up to date.
  • Maintain current and accurate records of assign staff on site
  • Recruit staff as per headcount requests timeously
  • Ensure selected staff meet the Amrod criteria, including clear criminal record and acceptable references
  • Arrange medicals
  • Reporting

  • Maintain records, statistics and database in compliance with LR and EE acts.
  • Extract statistics and prepare weekly report for presentation at meeting
  • Retain all applications as per EE requirements
  • Check monthly invoices to monitor costs as well as ensuring departmental list is provided for each invoice
  • Training

  • Coordinate training records and ensure VIP is updated with all training attendance.
  • Maintain individual employee files with training documentation.
  • Complete WSP annually
  • Source training providers as per requirements
  • Manage Amrod training venues and organize training and refreshments as required
