  • Develop and maintain processes (including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA / BEE compliance, and labour relations) for internal staff, Human Resource contractors and Talent Acquisition
  • Explore market best practices and opportunities and implement the appropriate best practices when in line with organizational strategies
  • Create and implement training and skills development programs within the organisation which connect employees with business goals
  • Identify and evaluate the organisations skills development initiatives to ascertain appropriate programs that meet the organisations goals
  • Provide stakeholder support in terms of skills development processes
  • Establish internal human resource objectives in line with organisation objectives
  • Create competency models and training needs analysis as required within the organisation
  • Ensure ongoing communication with the Finance department with regards to payroll and contracts
  • Support SHEQ Specialist in overseeing the quality management system performance and flag gaps and poor performance to senior management
  • Develop team-building exercises and workshops
  • Ensure that all employee offers, contract and induction are administered timeously
  • Ensure that internal staff has job descriptions
  • Establish and communicate internal human resource policies and procedures
  • Adhere to SHEQ processes and procedures
  • Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time by management
