The Role :

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Coordinator for a 12-month fixed term contract for our client in Mpumalanga.

We require your extensive knowledge of the mining industry.

Will be responsible to Coordinate the Project Management Office activities and support functions on their journey to functional excellence.

Provide select support to functions.

Will Track progress to ensure transparency of initiatives and overall excellence journey status.

Will escalate critical issues.

Minimum educational level : Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Skills and Experience :

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following : Â Â Â Â

  • Organise department and other meetings with relevant stakeholders and take minutes of meetings
  • Manage road-mapping tools and other core functional excellence systems
  • Conduct data pulls to create reports from road mapping and other core functional excellence systems
  • Make approved changes to initiatives on the road mapping tool and other core functional excellence systems
  • Keep detailed records of key documents and changes to initiatives
  • Adhere to all governance, policies, standards, statutory and legal compliance
  • Embrace a culture of discipline
  • Adhere to the performance management process
  • Uphold the Company culture and values and foster a climate of effective teamwork and unity
  • Support preparation of financial budget and forecasts for the department
  • Consistently track department budget spend
  • Provide coordination and support to functions and aid initiative owners in the development of rigorous roadmaps and initiatives
  • Proactively engage with initiative owners and escalate critical issues as required
  • Prepare regular status reports in collaboration with Finance
  • Support development of functional excellence Key Performance
  • Indicators (KPIâ??s) and facilitate regular reporting of these KPIs
  • Coordinate with Finance to gather financial information to quantify financial impacts
  • Provide assistance / training to initiative owners on the use of
  • Road-mapping and other core systems
  • Provide select support to the department on operating model topics
  • Manage internal and external relations, including interface with service providers and applicable functions responsible to ensure that business needs are met
  • Maintain and ensure a healthy environment, safe operations practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) policies procedures in line with set standards
