JOB PURPOSE Support the achievement of sales targets by providing accurate and timely capturing of tenders, orders and / or quotations.
Assisting walk in clients KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 1. Data capturing Capture quotes / orders within 1 hour of receipt e.g. a coded one line item needs to be actioned within 1 minute.
A non-coded one line item needs to be actioned within 2 minutes. No carry overs of orders or quotes to the next day. Compile tenders within 3-5 days Conduct follow-ups with customers where necessary on short supplies or no stock items.
Offer alternatives or open a backorder for the customer, if authorised and give the eta of when stock will arrive. Order Toner or paper on AS400 when required for the sales team Follow up with customers within 7 days for acceptance or rejection of quotes and record on an Excel spreadsheet.
2. Administration Spice tickets to be closed as soon as request has been actioned. Prioritise and file according to the FIFO principle within an hour.
Ensure the mailboxes are cleared daily. 3. Customer Service Assist with answering calls when the call centre is busy to maintain the required service level and service Company customers.
Communicate with internal and external customers in a courteous, friendly informative manner, whether telephonically, by email or face to face.
Assist with resolving customer queries 4. Teamwork Supports Internal Sales Consultants, Category Managers and Account Managers.
