The Core Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic Account Manager who thrives in a fast paced, rewarding environment and who has a passion for tech and fitness related products! The role of the Account Manager is to support the sales team by taking orders for processing, allocating and picking stock, invoicing and distributing invoices to warehouse for delivery;
as well as processing of credits and emergency documents. Furthermore, you will be required to attend to customer queries and refer those beyond control to a person with authority.
Role description : Account Management
Present a 3 month plan for each account for the quarter. This plan must include targets, ranging, forecast and advertising plan.
Review trends in account - compare quarterly / monthly and YOY growth
Call on both Mass and independent accounts allocated to the account manager
Achieve all sell-in and sell-out targets.
Obtain forecasts by account
Weekly stock management & sell-out management - Analysis of this information done weekly
Co-op advertising (ensure the correct message in the advert is conveyed in the retailer’s advertising catalogue). Prepare and propose detailed 3 month plan.
Administration & Stock Planning
Contact reports after each meeting
Stock planning - Ongoing review of model stock to adapt to trends & improve sell out potential
Price Lists and SOH sent weekly retailers
New product communicated and sold into retail weekly
Qualifications requirements :
A completed tertiary degree is required
Experience requirements :
Proven track record in Account Management / sales at head office level with a reputable brand
