Company in Sandton is looking for a Financial Manager to manage the full financial function for a dynamic growing business.

Maintaining Company financial records & financial informationPreparation of financial statements and assisting auditors with annual audit of financial recordsMaintaining general ledger reviewing monthly to ensure correct allocationReviewing supplier accounts and ensuring they are reconciled monthly and differences investigated.

Preparing of monthly Management AccountsMaintaining of the company fixed asset register Providing for monthly depreciation of assets.

Raising additions and disposals of assetsEnsuring compliance with all Statutory Regulations ie SARS.Preparing of company budgetPreparing of departmental budgetsPreparing of cost centers per departmentMaintaining company Cash Flow spreadsheet and updating weeklyMaintaining financial dashboardApproving of new suppliers and credit applicationsReviewing of supplier recons with statementsMonthly reconciliation of payroll, Control accounts for Salaries, Wages, SARS, Provident Fund, Staff Loans etc.

  • Managing Debtors and CreditorsConfident in their ability to work aloneStrong accounting / bookkeeping skillsExperience in processing monthly payroll (500+ employees)Managing StaffBCOM in finance, accounting, or Bcom Accounts III or similar (minimum)Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial ManagerAbility to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being usedA solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principlesWorking knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulationsExperience with the cleaning industry will be advantageousProblem solving skillsGood command of English both oral and writtenInterpersonal skillsMathematical proficiencyQualifications :
  • BCOM in finance, accounting, or Bcom Accounts III or similar (minimum)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Manager
  • Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Good command of English both oral and written
