We are looking for a Customer Manager : Retail - Shoprite Checkers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing customer business plans that will deliver budgeted turnover, profit, growth, share and innovation targets by category and / or brand within customer portfolio
You will Manage Distribution, Pricing, Shelf and Merchandizing (DPSM) account.
You will ensure that strategic opportunities and objectives by Channel and by Category or Brand are incorporated into the Customer Business plans (Joint Business Planning)
You will implement , monitor and evaluate agreed pricing, promotions , distribution, merchandising plans on a monthly basis.
You will ensure that all pricing is negotiated in line with KC and channel objectives and that pricing is effectively administered
You will deliver against key strategic business drivers : annual growth targets by category, distribution objectives by brand, promotional spend, payment terms, delivery allowances category drivers, product and pricing and profitability
Negotiate and agree trading terms , pricing and promotional strategies based on the business objectives and strategic importance of the Customer
Monitor pricing and trade promotional spend to budgets
Qualifications and experience
Tertiary Education (Degree / Diploma) with at least a minimum 5 years selling and / or category experience.
Retail experience and knowledge of customers
