We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.Purpose of JobTo ensure that xBOS processes are documented, reviewed and shared with project and business as usual stakeholders across Africa.

ResponsibilitiesThe xBOS Process analyst is working on xBOS system implementation and system update projects with the following responsibilities : Logistical arrangements and content preparation for process workshopsSetting up meetings, invites and agendas.

Preparing a repository of relevant source material prior to the workshop.Contextualising current knowledge and basic understanding from source documentation onto a conceptual white boardScribe for process workshopsDocumenting workshop outcomes and next stepsWrapping up informal notes and whiteboard content into a standard process flow documentAmending and updating such documentation as requested by the xBOS process lead subsequent to his / her review.

Facilitate feedback and sign-off of future state designs as well as any interim ways of work documentation.Engage all stakeholders to ensure that stakeholders review and sign-off.

Maintain a register of document approvalsManage document versionsEnsure that the final approved document / process flow / process design is shared and available to all stakeholders.

Maintain a website / process repository of all approved xBOS process designs ( for Africa)maintain an easy to use structure that allows stakeholders to navigate to or find specific content.

Maintain hyperlinks from the process repository and documents included in this repository to other sites and systems.Manage access to the site and its contents.

Testing of new processes and / or systemsPrepare test cases for end users to walk through a new or an improved process.Support the xBOS Process Lead in facilitating testing events.

Document any shortcoming / testing workshop outcomesSystem BugsSystem EnhancementsProcess enhancementsTracing of system bugs and enhancements with the the relevant development teamTraining material preparation and presentationSupport Training material preparation by acting as custodian for up to date screenshots, process flows and procedural detail that need to be included in training material.

Update training material after any system upgrades or process improvements.Present training material as and when required.

Dashboarding and data analytics.To prepare data sourcesBasic manipulation and cleaning of data with Alteryx.To maintain data sets regularly and if need be re-publish Power BI dashboards on a regular basis.

System AccessBack-end SNow accessAccess to documentation tools including : G SuiteEA SparxWhiteboard tools ( Jamboard / Miro / Mural / etc.

LucidchartMicrosoft VisioxBOS system access ( Oracle, Salesforce, Workday etc will be arranged on a project by project basis, both for PRODUCTION and well as TESTING environments)Data analytics and presentation tools : Good understanding of formulas, pivots and graphing in Google sheets.

Alteryx access and exposurePower BI access and exposureResources and AccountabilitiesGeographical spanx- AfricaKey Competencies and AttributesKnowledge, skills and abilitiesAttention to detail, preciseness in the execution of tasks and solution-oriented approach are essential skills.

Experience in using large volumes of data.The ability to conceptualise and then represent intangible ideas or approaches.

Strong communication and influencing skills including interactions with the business on different levels.Ability to facilitate workshops / training sessions / speak on front of large groups of people.

Analytical skills.Excellent teamwork skills.Excellent business acumen.Qualification & ExperienceRequirements Engineering and / or Consulting background (Internal or client facing) Business Analysis experience preferred.

IT or Engineering tertiary qualification.?
