Job Description The successful Head of Finance will be based in Johannesburg and will have the following duties : FinancePlan, implement and monitor a cycle of medium-

term cost improvements.Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor and report on variances. ProcessCommunicate a meaningful tactical context that guides and directs best practice integration and process alignment with service delivery objectives.

Partner with next level managers and specialists to ensure effective practice management through multiple process design and integration.

Drive the implementation of tactical strategy to realise business results, in adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures.

Manage and ensure the effective preparation of accurate budgets and monitoring of performance against actual outcomes.Provide accurate management accounts to relevant stakeholders to inform cost saving and other decision-

making purposes.Develop and align area related operational tactics in order to contribute to efficient cash flow management, ensuring business liquidity.

Coordinate the sourcing, analyses and interpretation of financial information in order to review the financial performance of the business.

Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices, procedures and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Ensure timeous communication on progress and challenges in achieving tactical delivery plans to impacted stakeholders. o Anticipate tactical strategy and practice issues and proactively develop solutions to enhance the quality of problem resolution.

Develop, align and implement a tactical strategy and associated policies and guidelines.Develop and implement tactical delivery plans and set operational targets.

Measure the delivery of operational plans, realign and improve where required.Plan for practice & operational activity changes, specify priorities and resources needed, apply changes and monitor effectiveness.

Conduct sales planning and identify, plan for and pursue leads and campaigns.CustomerBuild and maintain stakeholder relationships for the purposes of expectation management, knowledge sharing and integration.

Manage an integrated service excellence culture, which builds rewarding relationships & provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service.

Define practices which build service delivery excellence according to principles and encourage others to provide exceptional customer service.

Learning and GrowthDevelop and implement people capacity plans in line with delivery and performance objectives, on budget and in partnership with specialised areas.

Positively influence and manage change by providing mechanisms and support to implement major changes in area of accountability.

GovernanceImplement corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in a single practice area to identify and manage risk exposure liability.

The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have the following attributes : Qualification CA(SA) ideal but experience can make up for lacking qualifications8 -

10 years' experience in finance5 plus years' experience in managementAsset management experienceFinancial services experience
