The objective of the Marketing and Sales Representative includes assisting in organizing marketing campaigns, going to market with marketing strategies and developing sales through Travel Industry and School / University Networks.
This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the company''s Marketing and Sales department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
Training / Education requirements
Marketing degree and / or equivalent - 5 7 years experience (a minimum of 3 years in sales and a minimum of 3-5 in marketing) - Hospitality qualification
Requirements for work experience / skills Personal characteristics
Extensive experience and knowledge of the tourism and or media industries Previous Sales Rep / Business Development Manager experience.
Strong administrative skills 3-5 years experience at a managerial level would be advantageous Professional demeaner Driven High levels of attention to detail the ability to positively influence people the ability to professional represent the business the ability to take initiative Ability to work under pressure and manage stress team work the ability to follow up effectively
Areas of responsibility
Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing departments activities Supporting Marketing Executives in organizing various projects Growing of Sales through the Travel Industry Networks Growing of Sales through the School & University Networks Work tasks Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities Support marketing executives in organizing various projects Assist with various PR and or Industry related events.
Assist with the hosting of VIP clients, Travel Agents or Media at the reserve. Travel domestically to visit Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Schools and Universities in order to grow Sales for our Game Reserve and its Outdoor Education.
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.) Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information Prepare and deliver promotional presentations Compose and post online content on the companys website and social media accounts Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the companys presence in the market Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships Collaborating with the sales & marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on sales & marketing strategies.
Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation. Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
Working closely with the Hospitality and Operations Teams on the reserve. Assistance with writing of newsletters and press releases.
Giving presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining a marketing database., formatting and editing a range of documents.
Understanding company product and brand. General office duties. Creating and interpreting a variety of reports
