Working for the Territory Sales Manager, this Territory Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa gives you the opportunity to join an EMEA team who focus on a high touch model with customers and partners driving sales results.
You will have the ability to quickly understand your territory / market area and identify gaps and whitespace. This will give you the opportunity to create, develop and execute sales campaigns and initiatives in region to drive success and improve customer and partner experience.
Our channel partners play an invaluable role in our sales mix today and we need to drive these key relationships and educate our partners on our Adobe offerings.
The role of the Territory Account Manager is to understand the needs of the customers and offer both them and the partners support in reaching their goal.
What you’ll do
Drive a Territory sales number based on customer net new growth and retention
Create a Territory Account Plan and align business goals and metrics
Work with the wider TAM team, internal stakeholders and partners and distributors to drive your plan
Ensure you have coverage across your territory
Drive sales campaigns and initiatives to achieve results and address our big bets’
Collaborate with Partners to ensure their buy in and a clear understanding of our model, offering and engagement structure
Skill up and stay updated on our latest offerings, products, buying programs and promotions
Identify industry / market trends
Deliver accurate weekly forecasting and pipeline updates to Territory Sales Manager
Obsess about Retention and Deployment and understand the health of your renewal business at all times
Ensure Salesforce.com accuracy and be accountable
Be able to tell your own territory story (Discover, Try, Buy, Use, Renew)
Overachieve targets quarter on quarter increasing our footprint in existing accounts while also hunting down new clients
You communicate positively, professionally and knowledgeably about Adobe and your customers / partners business
You demonstrate the ability to think outside the box and have the courage to voice concerns and uncertainties
What you need to succeed
At least 5 years of experience in both sales and channel management in technology industry
Experience in selling services, not only products
Experience in working for international corporations
Proven track record of working with C-level of the customers and partners
Experience in working not only in South Africa but also other African countries
Sales driven A hunter and relationship builder, a quick learner, ability to open, propose & close
Driver proven track record of being able to make things happen in a cross functional environment
Numerate able to find the story from the numbers, and see the trends
Systems capable, find your way around Adobe, to get things done
Mobile some travel will be required in this role
Flexible comfortable with ambiguity and able to make necessary changes to drive results
