Responsibilities Overseeing Execution of Disciplinary and Internal Dispute Processes - Provide IR support to sites and X-docks on day-to-day IR matters and discipline management.

IR specific interventions and assistance at site level - Ranges from advice on day-to-day management of employee relations matters, facilitating engagements to resolve issues on site and providing assistance to management and employees in dealing with issues.
External Dispute Processes - Prepare case files for matters referred. Meet with and prepare company witnesses for testimony at the CCMA / NBCRFLI and / or Labour Court.
Represent the company at relevant external forums such as the CCMA / NBCRFLI and / or Labour Court. Any other duties and ad-hoc tasks - These may be specific projects or tasks, i.

Competencies Excellent people management skills, relationship building skills and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (excellent command of writing in English).
Practical experience in IR related procedures, including union negotiations, and solid knowledge of relevant legislation : LRA, BCEA, NBCRFLI Main Collective Agreement, etc.
Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards within a diverse workplace and a highly unionised environment. Advanced Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, generating reports and schedules).
