Catering Manager, East London Our multi-national client, one of SA's market leaders in Outsourced Services industry, is looking for a Catering Manager to join their team in East London.

The Successful applicant will be responsible for all food service related activities which include managing of daily operations of the kitchen area, implementation of the production process, managing food / labor costs and an overall understanding of HACCP.

Duties and Responsibilities : Managing daily operations of the assigned unitImplementation of the production processManaging food / labor costsOverall understanding of HACCPMinimum Requirements : Relevant Tertiary qualification in food and beverage services or culinary artsMinimum 3 Years' experience of progressive / kitchen managementExperience working within budget guidelines to deliver resultsHigh Volume, complex food service operation experience is highly desirableDriver's licenseKnowledge of the catering environment ranging from fine dining to restaurant diningKnowledge of South African and industry specific lawsCustomer Service SkillsManagement SkillsCommunication SkillsExceptional Functions SkillsAbility to balance budget and save on soft costsComputer literateSalary : R18 000 CTC (includes Provident Fund contribution), Cellphone allowanceand suitable photo.
