  • Managed IoT, Security and WiFi + Internet / Hosting Services
  • Assurance Subordinates (1st Level) T1 Support Technician Subordinates (2nd Level) Subordinates (3rd Level) TWK
  • As part of the Assurance vertical, the role provides effective and efficient Specialist-level support and responses to faults / incidents and escalations of companies External and Internal Customers,
  • Resolve Specialist-level technical issues and manage and escalate issues to companies Centres of Excellence or Vendors
  • Monitoring platforms
  • EMS / NMS, Zabbix, Dude, Netonix, MI, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Mikrotik and Juniper, Datatill
  • Core Network, Mikrotik, Juniper, Dude and related
  • Fault Management and timeously ticket resolution (Datatill)
  • Managed services Internet and Voice, SLA, VIP, Highsite Owner s
  • Provide the specialist single-point-of-contact to key customers in the managed IoT, Security, Internet and WiFi contracts
  • Develop, Improve and Monitor the network Using (all NMS and ENMS)
  • Monitoring of Server Platforms and services supporting large customers
  • Received and processing of alerts / Escalations
  • Responding to trouble-tickets (Link / issues)
  • Implementing of new platforms and optmisations
  • Monitoring of all VOIP services and assist migration
  • Escalating to 3rd party and vendors T4 timeously
  • DataTill Voltage reports monitoring
  • Monitoring and management of Environmental systems
  • Perform RF planning
  • Perform RF Maintenance
  • Perform Core setup of new installations
  • Perform Setup of new installations
  • Configure new equipment for PtP and PtMP
  • Configure new Backbone, IoT, Camera, WiFi and Internet Services
  • Receiving escalated costumer issues and resolving them
  • Adhere to customer SLA MTTR (respond time)
  • Dealing directly with customers that require a more in dept solution
  • Prioritizing and managing open cases to completion
  • Providing internal support to Front line
  • Posting on various and necessary group, Teams, WA, ect
  • Managing escalations to external vendors
  • Maintenance of all managed services
  • Managing of all internal servers and external hosted servers / services
  • Maintaining our VOIP setup
  • Occasional Assistant to L2 / L3 Specialist
  • Indepth reporting and customer management
  • Provide detailed trouble shooting and RCAs for companies customers.
  • Escalate and manage internal and external resources to resolve
  • Qualifications

  • MTCNA and MTCRE or any equivalent
  • UBWS and WBWA or any equivalent
  • NQF5 IT Systems
  • Essential Desirable

  • 3-5 years experience in the Internet service Provider Industry
  • Experience with FreePBX and VoIP
  • Ubiquiti and Mikrotik experience
  • Linux Server / asterisks experience
  • DataTill
  • Google Earth
  • Teams Essential
  • Excellent understanding of switching and routing and their related technologies, TCP / IP, IP Addressing, CIDR and DNS.
  • STP, VPN technology s, OSPF

  • Excellent RF Knowledge and ability to teach
  • Good communication with Off-Net providers for Change Management ISM and Licence Band RF and Technology IP / BPX Knowledge
