Our client in the Utilities Industry is looking to hire a Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :
Deliver engineered packages to comply to the overall project budget, schedule and quality standards
Fit for purpose engineering and design in all required industry segments
Manage hours, budgets and change / variations in a manner that enhances gross profits on projects
Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with the relevant Client and Certis policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Construction, installation, and commissioning project support.
Reporting as and when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing tenders / proposals to customer specifications ensuring proper costing, minimizing financial risks.
Reviewing relevant tender and / or project specifications to ensure clarity of scope.
Engineering and design package generation for proposals / bids and projects.
Execution and assistance during FAT or plant simulations.
Develop and maintain relationships with technology and equipment suppliers.
Control and management of sub-contractors both at bid and project phases.
Authoring / verifying all required technical documentation as required for a project.
Organizing, planning and scheduling activities / packages to comply with the overall project schedule.
Support to other departments / disciplines as required during tenders and projects.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures.

EXPERIENCE :
At least 10 years related work experience
Demonstrated experience of engineering and execution of projects in the Mining / Minerals / Water sector preferred
QUALIFICATIONS :
Professionally qualified with a Bachelors Degree or NQF Level 6 in Electrical and / or Control & Instrumentation Engineering
Professional Engineer Certification (ECSA) required
