Minimum requirements for the role :
A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences or related qualification is essential for this role.
Previous experience working in a Key Account or New Business Development or similar role having sold laboratory instrumentation into the Life Sciences Industry is essential.
Must be computer literate.
Must be energetic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Promoting and training on Company products in both private and state business.
Building and maintaining relationships in order to promote laboratory instrumentation sales.
Achieving and exceeding sales targets by utilising opportunities whilst minimising risks and the competitions activities in the life sciences market.
Conducting Customer site visits in order to achieve the objectives set within the territory.
Ensuring that sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as the Companys policies.
Meeting the Customers needs as well as resolving all queries and concerns that arise.
Implementing Key Account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are met or exceeded.
Managing, liaising and delivering on technical queries with regards to existing and new products for Customers.
Monitoring market developments to identify and assess potential new Customers and opportunities.
Building up market and competition knowledge by analysing market trends.
Implementing volumes and pricing objectives agreed with Key Account Customers.
Effectively implementing price increases and maintaining monthly or quarterly price lists.
