  • Formulate export strategy in collaboration with Business Manager ensuring, alignment with the business strategy
  • Export strategy execution and sales budgeting
  • Price negotiations
  • Achieve sales targets, fulfil seasonal strategies, increase margin and profits
  • Work collaboratively across-functional teams to align product demand and supply
  • Collaborate with all business units and develop / creat new export business opportunities
  • Organise regular business reviews with customers
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Be accountable for Debtors
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for exports
  • Regular travel to call on existing and prospective customers
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge across the company's business units to ensue ongoing alignment
  • Customer visit reporting
  • Attend industry events
  • Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies at all times

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification / Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business Management / Sciences
  • 5-8 years experience in Marketing and Sales function that includes managing complex and / or significant customer relationships and key accounts (Chemical industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in Africa desired
  • Experience with CRM & MS Office
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle
  • Valid passport
