Location - South Africa Hiring Manager - Harm Stavast Recruiter - Nick Lynch What you'll be doing
You'll be part of the sales team, responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing all aspects of sales and marketing strategies relative to those customer accounts and / or territories that have been assigned.
Responsible for the maximisation of sales and profit through the sales of hardware, software and related CDK Services against an agreed territory plan
Responsible for achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Maintain and grow existing baseline recurring revenue.
To meet those sales targets through professional diligence in meeting the needs of the customers, maintaining complete customer satisfaction and applying the CDK Sales strategy / model to generate increased share of wallet.
Assume day-to-day management of a territory / set of accounts and all related sales activities, including but not limited to :
regular account mgt contact frequency- meeting customers and identifying needs, value propositions for additional products / services o working on solutions with various CDK departments providing a proposal to accounts-
closing commercial, contractual terms
To produce comprehensive Annual Sales Plans based on detailed Whitespace analysis.
Build, develop and retain strong relationships with owners / management teams and employees of the allocated accounts
To formulate strategies for strengthening assigned accounts and maximizing the company’s potential to establish business partnerships.
Implement and utilise fully the DSI Sales Model & Core Processes
Work closely with other departments in achieving company objectives.
Manage own time ensuring that adequate time is allocated to key activities, as based on the priorities as identified in the sales plan.
Provide regular reporting for activities / accounts status as per CDK Sales model and guidelines given by manager
Participate in Sales Team meetings and engage with the team in problem solving, issue discussion, greater general communication and more transparent operation.
Utilize all resources at your disposal with particular emphasis on Sales Automation tools e.g. slesforce.com, to effectively manage a robust pipeline and provide accurate weekly forecasting to your Director of Sales.
Understand your competition and aggressively and proactively attack their base within your set of accounts.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience you'll need;
Experience in Sales, preferably in the IT solution and automotive industry with a Sales target of minimum of $xxm..
Preferable but not essential - work experience within the automotive sector
A proven track record of sales growth gained in a technology solution sales environment where the ROI has been based on business process change / optimisation
Customer focussed - maturity and diplomacy to handle the various levels within the target client organizations.
Able to demonstrate a professional structured sales approach incorporating Prospecting, Contact Management, Qualification, Presentation, Objection Handling and Closing Techniques.
Results driven, ambitious, competitive
Excellent communication skills, especially around listening, questioning politely assertiveExcellent negotiation skills
Self-driven, highly motivated, proactive
Highly organised within a process orientated environment
Highly computer literate and familiarity with CRM / SFA systems
