  • General bookkeeping functions : Create purchase orders, process invoices and credit notes, capture payments and receipts, reconcile accounts Management of petty cash and Company credit cards Produce and distribute monthly management reports to agreed timescales Produce required financial reports for members of the team and Board of Directors Produce required annual financial reports and statements to agreed time Produce detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts Develop annual budgets in collaboration with the MD and CFO Monthly payroll administration Submit VAT, PAYE, UIF timeously Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors and inter-company accounts Ensure implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures and systems Monthly office grocery and stationery requirement purchases Requirements : Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting Minimum of three years’ experience in a finance and / or bookkeeping role Minimum of two years’ experience using Pastel and Sage VIP Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook experience Advantageous : Finance qualification Xero business tool experience Personal skills / attributes : Excellent organisational skills Finance management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to negotiate Excellent problem-solving abilities Effective time management skills Ability to work under high pressure and flexible as part of a team Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters Deadline driven
