Tasks & Responsibilities : vIdentify, source, and pursue existing and new business opportunities printing, UV disinfection and IR markets (Industrial & Commercial).
vLiaise and network with existing and potential architects, facility managers, managing agents, contractors, distributors, and other industry professionals to identify projects and tenders.
vRepresent the print, UV and IR ranges at exhibitions, customer shows and events. vCarry out site audits and studies together with technical staff to establish and cost suitable customer solutions.
vPrepare and present customer proposals, reports, and quotations. vPrepare and finalize customer tenders. vCarry out customer training and information sessions.
vCompile weekly call plans and reports. vCompile and maintain a comprehensive database of clients and projects. vCompile Monthly report on existing and future sales and projects.
vReport on new markets, competitor activities and product / solution opportunities. v Qualifications and Experience : vDiploma in Electrical Engineering through the accredited program is a MUST.
vA minimum of 3-4 years sales experience is a MUST. vProven record in either the electrical / lighting / UV & IR sales field.
vKnowledge of lighting spectrum inclusive of Ultraviolet and Infra-Red. vMust be willing to travel provincially. vStrong knowledge of computer software packages and MS Office.
vMust have a valid drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle. vPreference for a qualified electrician that can sign CoCs. v Skills and Competencies : vMust be able to present to customers and convey the companys products in a professional manner.
vMust pay attention to detail and be deadline driven. vHave a passion for sales, self-motivated and be target driven. vMust be able to work long hours and under pressure when required.
vGood language and communication skills that allows for correct articulation of companys products and solutions. vExcellent interpersonal skills.
vMust be able to handle conflict scenarios. vAbility to manage ones own time and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
vMust be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfil obligations. vManage criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
vMust be able to be on standby and work long hours when required and to assist accordingly. vStrong ability to function independently without supervision as well as part of a team.
vA good understanding of customer relationships and needs analysis.
