A well-established market leader in poultry and piggery housing equipment and consumables requires the above to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.
Minimum requirements for the role :
Qualification in a related field is preferred but not essential.
Must have a strong sales personality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential.
Must be willing and able to travel when required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Selling poultry housing equipment to prospective and existing clients in North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng.
Developing new business and retaining existing clients by establishing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
Achieving sales targets and outcomes within agreed timelines.
Effectively negotiating price increases when required to do so.
Performing cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing and prospective customers.
Overseeing stock management and assisting with debtors when necessary.
Researching markets in order to continuously gain product and market knowledge in order to identify areas of growth within the region.
Salary package, including benefits, are negotiable depending on experience gained.
