Position Description :

TFG Infotec is a dynamic, well-established information and communication technology (ICT) organisation dedicated to the development and implementation of world-class IT systems and infrastructure for TFG (The Foschini Group).

TFG Infotec has a contractor vacancy for a Stores IT Technical Specialist with in the Stores Technical team. If you have in-depth Microsoft Infrastructure, PC hardware and software technical knowledge, excellent problem solving skills, enjoy working in a team and have a customer service focus, then you should consider applying for this position.

Key performance areas :

3rd line technical support for the store systems environment

Service level agreement compliance

Liaising with stores service providers and other support teams

Identifying opportunities for improving current processes

Investigating and implementing solutions to technical issues

Documenting processes

Hardware and software testing and certification

Involvement in technical projects

Ideally you have :

Previous store systems support experience

A relevant tertiary qualification

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management best practices

Good VB and Powershell scripting skills

Excellent desktop hardware and peripheral knowledge

In depth knowledge of Windows 7 / 10 & Server 2008 r2 / 2016 technology

In depth knowledge of SCCM 2007 / CB

Knowledge and understanding of AD, DNS, MSMQ, SQL

Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft InTune

Microsoft Infrastructure knowledge in a remote office environment

Knowledge and understanding of a mobile device environment, preferably on an Android or iOS platform

Knowledge and understanding of wireless networking (access points and managed switches)

You should be :

Able to work under pressure and display initiative

Able to work independently, as well as within a team

Organised and able to meet deadlines

Focused on attention to detail

Willing to learn
