Human Pharma Sales Representative

Area of Responsibility : Johannesburg South

  • The appointee will;
  • Responsible for meeting budget of PM products. Interacting with private medical practitioners, mainly specialists including key opinion leaders, exploring new outlets and for developing new customers and supplying a quality service to existing customers.

    The accountabilities of the position are as follows :

  • Achievement of budget
  • Market Boehringer Ingelheim core products to private medical practitioners and Pharmacists
  • Develop new key customers and supply a quality service to existing key customers
  • Continued education on new and existing products
  • Cross functional alignment with Specialist representative, Medical and Marketing
  • Calling on private doctors treating patients with cardiovascular, Diabetic problems
  • Must be able to travel and do country trips

  • Qualifications

  • Tertiary education preferably Medical or General Sciences e.g. B.Sc. / Teaching / Clinical
  • Technicians / Biokinetics / Nursing (Needs to deal with medical terminology in discussing medical literature)
  • Experience

  • Previous sales experience not a pre-requisite, but preferable
