The H Band Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer role isbased within Technology.
The QA Engineer is responsible for maintaining QA platform and executingtests to platform readiness and capability quality, overseeing the end-to-enddevelopment process.
This role is responsible for reviewing technical design documents and trackingquality assurance metrics to ensure adherence to quality standards, identifyingdeficiencies, debugging, and defining remediating actions for environments.
Theincumbent will provide software-related operations support, including providinglevel two and level three incident and problem support.
Your responsibilities willinclude :
Reviewrequirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensureadherence to design quality and coding standards
CompileDaily Morning Health Checks
Rundaily checks across all environments
Investigateand fix issues & compile report
Performpost implementation checks
Joinboilers (Functionality &environments)
Manageand communicate issues
ManageQA Deployment Approvals & Rollbacks
Testenvironments services using automation tools
Debugtests and provide corrective actions to software engineering
Trackquality assurance metrics, such as defect density and early life incidents
Manageincidents as level two and level three support
Manageproblems as level two and level three support

The ideal candidate for this role will have :
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
At least five years relevant work experience of with three or more years in maintaining QA Platforms and / or systems analysisfdf
Linux batch scripting - essential
Experience of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience of automated testing tools and scripting
Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, BDD and ATDD
Experience working in cloud-native environments
Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred
Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) preferred
Competency in UX principles and practices preferred
