This position is responsible for developing, supervise, train, deploy, and supervise all functions of the Product Support Team to ensure the successful deployment and support of all Mining Systems related products and services.
Interface with all levels of management, internally and externally, regarding mining systems product support.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to :
Supervise, develop, and lead a functional product support team focusing on quality and customer service within FLANDERS’ Core Values and Principles, and Corporate Mission.
Ensure goals established by the Product Support Manager are achieved, holding self and subordinates accountable.
Monitor and maintain team and individual performance matrices.
Coach others in the dynamics of effective teamwork and leadership.
Continuously improve processes and procedures to implement functional strategies within the Product Support Group.
Recognize development needs and capability gaps in group and arrange specific projects / assignments to address each need.
Identify and mentor high potential employees for purposes of succession planning.
The position requirements are :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years engineering experience.
Five years management experience.
Five years project management experience.
Three years mining industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mining industry practices and markets.
Training experience and knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent process-oriented and problem solving skills.
Budget experience with multiple areas.
High degree of knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to foster good employee / management relations and build a strong team effort to fulfill customers’ expectations.
