Projects Coordinator (ICT) - Mount Edgecombe Introduction The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities between Clients, Project Managers, Rollout Managers, Contractors and Subcontractors with the aim to deliver projects on time, according to specification and within budget.
The project coordinator will be responsible for updating project documents and providing administrative support to the entire team.
Duties & Responsibilities Adhere to the project management procedures and processes as implemented by the company. Ensure that all project related documentation is available, updated, relevant, accurate and completed.
Track and update project progress on the project management tool. Compile project plan and project charters as defined by client requirements.
Coordination of all internal and external resource activities to ensure delivery of the project as per the project timelines.
Coordinate and track all resources (contractors, sub-contractors, material, spares etc.) to ensure delivery of the project as per the project timelines.
Prepare, track and coordinate all PO’s, invoices and financial statements between the company financial systems, customers, contractors and subcontractors on all assigned projects.
Communicate project progress, project issues, risks and any other information to all stakeholders. Escalation of non-performance, non-conformance and any other project risk to management.
Maintain corporate governance as per the company policies and procedures. Support office administration duties. External Customers, contractors and subcontractors.
Suppliers and service providers. Internal customers : Sales, Marketing, Product development, Program Managers and Rollout Managers.
Desired Experience & Qualification Matric. Relevant Diploma or Certificate in Project Management Driver’s License is required.
3+ years of experience in a project management administration or co- ordination role 1+ years’ experience in ICT / Engineering environment Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management by implementing best practices Must be highly efficient and organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism Ability to be proactive, prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a service-oriented environment Knowledge of the ICT technology landscape.

Computer literate; -fully conversant in MS Office Knowledge and understanding of managing complex teams Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) is required.
