Ensure that you verify current stock levels before placing orders to ensure that excessive stock is not procured. Daily outstanding / overdue purchase order together with confirmed delivery dates are to be sent to management and a daily basis.

You will be in control of the internal and external material storage supply arrangements and facilities, ensuring that materials are stored safely and securely.

Ensure that processes are implemented to prevent any unauthorised material being taken from stores and stocks. Assist the financial director to maintain the material store stock system, ensuring that materials stocked are purchased to the agreed specification, price and stock levels are maintained at the optimum usage and financial levels.

Liaise with appointed material suppliers to ensure that the agreed supply arrangements are effectively working and materials ordered arrive just in time for the manufacturing process.

Procure materials, following the company’s procedures and financial procedures. Plan, coordinate and manage the monthly stock take.

Stock takes must be completed at the last day of each month. You will be responsible to appoint staff to assist in the stock take.

You will be responsible for reconciling stock variances and providing management with adequate explanations and remedies to correct and prevent stock variances.

Maintain an up to date register of all plant and equipment, including small tool, recording issues and returns in a manner that ensures the location of all items can be constantly tracked.

Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases Track shipments and address any delays Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists on a weekly basis.

Pack and issue stock items per job requirements. Verification of quantities upon receipt inspection of all items procured.

The following weekly task must be completed accordingly : All invoices to be GRV’s by COB on the last working day of each week.

The GRV control account and intercompany transactions must be reconciled by COB on the last working day of each week.
