Cost and Management Accountant (Telecoms)
A giant in the ICT sector requires the skill of a dynamic individual to join them and thrive within this Cost and Management Accountant role.
As the key support to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, your key responsibilities will include supporting all budget and forecasting processes, monitoring costs throughout the organisation and assisting in managing these costs.
Additionally, you will support and develop the financial systems required to record (Acumatica software) and report (Solver software).
You will meet the following minimum requirements
Degree (Accounting / Finance / Taxation)
Majors in Cost and Management Accounting highly advantageous
CIMA / ACCA / CA SA preferred
5+ years relevant post qualification experience in a financial accounting or management accounting role
Should be intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel user (Non negotiable)
Should be meticulous and capable of communicating on any level
Exposure to Acumatica and Solver software (or similar) is highly advantageous
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
Providing and interpretation of Management information
Providing financial advice and expertise
Continually monitor expenses and ensure that they are properly accounted for (Cost centre,
Account, Business unit) and that they have been included in the budget as appropriate
Optimising profits, identifying profit improvement channels and opportunities
Financial performance evaluation and analysis
Develop corporate planning systems
Preparation of budgets & forecasts
Preparation of financial reports
Determine cost distribution per department
Updating of costs in analytics system
Business process modelling
Project appraisals and valuations
Prepare and analyse cost records and reports and conduct cost audits
Location : Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Johannesburg (Northern Suburbs).
