An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing and Communications Manager at Life Employee Health Solutions (Life EHS) Head Office in Dunkeld, JHB, reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer of Life EHS.
awareness, market reach, customer acquisition and demand generation for Life EHS products and services. The Marketing and Communications Manager will have the opportunity to set up the marketing office, which will be supported by the Life Healthcare national marketing office.
The Life EHS marketing office will provide key support to the Life EHS sales and business development team and be an integral part of the broader Life EHS team, including operational stakeholder’s and external business affiliates.

Critical Outputs In conjunction with Life EHS senior stakeholders and the Life Healthcare national marketing head, develop and execute marketing programmes / campaigns and activities that help to drive brand awareness, education, customer adoption and pipeline acceleration of Life EHS’s products and services to both existing and new market segments.
Excellent marketing funnel management ability to map the customer journey and design and produce appropriate related collateral leveraging off key journey touchpoints.
Develop a deep understanding of the business and build the right marketing plans and programmes in support of business and sales stakeholder objectives.
Act as primary marketing contact with sales team and business stakeholders / leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions.
Execute marketing and social media programmes designed to meet sales objectives including events, communication tools, demand generation and contact acquisition.
Earn trust and maintain strong relationships across the organisation to support Life EHS’s strategic goals, working in conjunction with peers, vendors and stakeholders to increase engagement.
Willingness and ability to work independently and autonomously. Ability to plan and manage the annual health content planner from end-to-end including development, execution and day-to-day content management and delivery.
Ability to design, implement, manage and maintain Life EHS’s social media strategy and online marketing campaigns, aligned to our narrative and brand messaging, and aimed at driving growth and robust lead generation.

Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in online marketing. Ability to firmly manage client SLA marketing and content deliverables ensuring strict adherence to brand and corporate identity, and also balancing client satisfaction and marketing deliverables with SLA commitments.
Ability to own and drive new product launch collateral and messaging, working closely with sales and product development to ensure maximum uptake and awareness within existing and new client base.
Requirements Degree in marketing or communications management. 7+ years’ experience business to business (B2B) and business to customer (B2C) demand and lead generation Experience in healthcare provider industry would be an advantage.
Experience in social media management and strategy, product management, account-based marketing and / or project management.
Experience managing integrated marketing and communication campaigns using tactics that include above, below and through-the-line approaches.
Experience working closely with sales and account teams to develop collaborative marketing plans. An eye for graphic design and a proven track record in briefing and managing a design portfolio within a brand environment.
Content Management understanding and skill (Word Press and Umbraco knowledge) an advantage Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing platforms simultaneously.
Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth.
Deep knowledge of healthcare industry good understanding of how the healthcare industry operates and the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem.
