  • A minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient on Excel.
  • Duties

  • Full understanding of accounting;
  • Full Bookkeeping function Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.
  • Accurate reconciliation and balancing of both local and foreign bank accounts to general ledger - (Currencies US Dollar, Pound, Euros and Kenyan shilling and Japanese yen)
  • Managing petty cash and processing of petty cash claims;
  • Managing foreign cash floats and processing of foreign claims;
  • Processing and payment of employee expense claims;
  • Managing and allocation of customer payments related to equipment;
  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and timeously resolving reconciling items.
  • Processing and managing intercompany transactions and accounts;
  • Preparation of VAT201’s for review and submission;
  • Excellent overall business financial understanding;
