Sandton - Raizcorp is looking for a highly professional, hands-on Junior Projects Manager who has a strong eye for detail and enjoys project planning, coordination and execution.
You will be working closely with your line manager on getting a three-month client-interaction and client-focused project coordinated and executed upon in a meticulous and professional manner.
Previous experience in running projects under supervision, including resolving all project logistics and communications is essential.
What does a Junior Projects Manager do? Your day-to-day work will be focused on working closely with your line manager to ensure all project deliverables are met and executed upon with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
We work hard at Raizcorp, so you have to be ready and willing to be very busy, highly engaged and strongly accountable to deliver on this project.
What experience is preferred? We’re looking for your experience as a project manager. We’re definitely looking for general projects experience with a focus on logistics and communication (internal and external stakeholder communication).

You must have a thick skin and be able to take direct, constructive criticism to improve. You need to be work-focused but you cannot be overly sensitive or possessive of your work as you will receive comments and requests for improvements.

You need to be a positive personality who works with great care. A good sense of humour is vital. What are the minimum requirements?
You must have a tertiary level qualification, preferably in a commerce or projects related field of study A minimum three years’ experience in projects management with strong logistical and communications requirements Previous experience in working with diverse teams (leadership mindset) Strong communications experience and skill Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) Proven ability to work with detailed data analysis and metrics Own vehicle with valid driver’s licence non-negotiable Desired skills High emotional intelligence with a real passion for developing people Strong deadline driven and driver personality Creative and strategic ability in developing solutions for delivery issues Self-motivated and organised Exceptional communicator with the ability to create strong, cohesive teams Tenacious with the ability to drive core business behaviours Systematic approach to work Proactive team player Ability to manage under pressure Flexible Strong emotional maturity and ability to take ownership and accountability The ability to take constructive criticism and take corrective action to make improvements Able to travel nationally and internationally.
