Our client is looking for a dedicated, experienced and hardworking representative to cover the Gauteng and outlying areas for their Cardiovascular range.

Extensive travel is required and applicants will be on rotational call.

The product range is the Cardio, Thoracics, EVH, Balloon Pumps and Drains and ECMO. It is essential that applicants have experience in this field.

Principle Objectives

The sales representative is responsible for continuous product support to the cardiac surgery / cardiac assist market with the objective of supporting and growing the line of products for all procedures linked to linked to cardiac surgery and cardiac assist.

Attendance to lists outside of normal working hours will be required periodically .

Key Tasks

Provide continuous product support to Cardiac Surgeons, Perfusionists, Clinical Technologists, Cardiologists, Cath Lab staff and theatre staff at Private and State Hospitals

Maintain required stock levels in theatre at all times.

Daily / weekly reporting to National Sales Manager

Attendance to cases to support consumable demand as directed by NSM.

Preparation for following day lists.

Provide continuous excellent customer support to K.O.L’s and staff.

Minimum Requirements

Existing relationships with Cardiac surgeons would be an advantage

Applicable tertiary degree would be highly beneficial

Applicable ICU / theatre experience would be highly beneficial

At least 3 years' experience in the medical devises industry

IT / computer literate,

Good interpersonal skills.

Good communication skills

CRICE certified

Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

Ability to manage time effectively

Ability to work under pressure

Attention to detail

Adherence to Medical protocols and procedures.
