Purpose Manage and maintain the IT / Network environment, interact with all parts of the business and provide basic system support to ensure achievement of high levels of productivity Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to : Responsibilities Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system Offer daily operations and systems support to user.

Conduct daily network backup operations and maintenance Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.

Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing Network security measures.

Telephone line issues Biometrics( user creation, access control and timesheets ) Two monitoring monitors located at the security room Two NVRs are located at the server room.

Site Camera system Wireless access point daily monitoring Printers(creating a user accounts Policies and procedures Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.

Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements Meet / exceed average information technology standards. System Monitoring Global security index(GSI) system Ysoft safeQ management Two monitoring monitors located at the security room Weekly & SCM Dashboard (KPI) Two NVRs are located at the server room Dedicated biometrics PC Outsourced GSI system barcode scanner loses connection Symmetric vaccine (Anti- Virus) GMES check the following databases : SAMESP1 Listener SAMESP1 DB GMES Listener Netback up House Keeping Ensure proper housekeeping in the area Ensure workplace is a safe environment to ensure compliance Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager Report Record & report shortages and damages Qualifications and Experience Information Technology tertiary qualification is preferrable Additional certificate will be an added advantage 4 7 years related experience Good knowledge of systems and security and basic IT knowlegde Proven track record in the IT experience MS Office and Excel at an advanced level Ability to use database for recording and reporting PowerPoint (including good presentation skills) Knowledge on the following systems : A+,N+,MS Office - Basic to Advanced, MCSE / MCITP Required Competencies Highly detail oriented and follow through Ability to work under pressure Good interpersonal skills and A strong work-ethic Administrative skills and good time management Excellent Reporting Skills Ability to use Own Initiative Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Able to challenge themselves and meet all deadlines and targets for the department Persistence and creativeness Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced environment The ability to multi-task and achieve set goals Passion for customer service and delivering an effortless experience Ability to understand processes, identify improvements and implement change Inherent Requirements Information Technology tertiary qualification is preferrable Additional certificate will be an added advantage 4 7 years related experience Good knowledge of systems and security and basic IT knowlegde Proven track record in the IT experience MS Office and Excel at an advanced level A+,N+,MS Office - Basic to Advanced, MCSE / MCITP Minimum Qualification Bachelors
