In this role, the individual will lead and execute on the Nedbank Insurance Mobile and Digital strategy, deliver operational excellence and productivity through a team of developers and technology experts (architects etc).

In this role you will also be required to take ownership of the product roadmap as we embark on the full digital journey. Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client workshops, work with business analysts and process analysts to document business requirements and develop them into use cases and solutions designs.
  • Act as the key contact point for the customer, guiding them through the analysis process and becoming a trusted advisor on what products to roll out on mobile and digital channels.
  • Provide technical support to business users on All Mobile and Digital artefacts in Production, via a team of developers and experts.
  • Targeting multiple channels (mobile apps, USSD, Fintech, Web, etc).

  • Developing product development strategies to ensure increased acquisitions of insurance products through engagement with various sales segments, enhancement of insurance value proposition and improvement of features and benefits over time.
  • Manage technical aspects of product development through collaboration with the technical team.
  • Manage product P&L, KPI and customer experience.
  • Coordinate with technology team for product related system maintenance and capability.
  • Identify cost / time / quality / risk aspects of the business issue by investigating the business benefits or problems.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders by regular meetings and agreeing deliverables.
  • Participate in the co-creation of the Mobile and Digital strategy.
  • Simplify complex MaD concepts for stakeholder and clients.
  • Own the product roadmap and KPI's; provide design specifications for product enhancements to Technical Agile squads to execute on.
  • Set expected performance output by meeting and agreeing with management.

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees
