    The National Value Strategy Manager position is a unique opportunity for you! This is a strategic role, owning the leadership of the brand market access strategy, so that reimbursement is granted in a timely manner.

    Leading the strategy to shape the healthcare ecosystem, ensuring advocates to the value for money of Roche’s portfolio in a rapid and unpredictable environment.

    You will inform the above-brand access plan with the specific needs at the policy level. You will be an enthusiastic advocate of the role, seeking innovative and strategic ways to address market access, new forms of pricing & funding models, as well as new ways of collaborating with stakeholders.

    The National Value Strategy Manager will work in a collaborative environment with talented and inspiring colleagues from other areas of the company, ensuring our ambition is aligned with customers and patient needs.

    This role may evolve and you will have the opportunity to shape it, although currently the main areas of focus include :

  • Creating a strong matrix-working mindset and behaviors

  • Developing the Brand Market Access Strategy that translates the product value proposition
  • Developing the Reimbursement and Pricing dossier under the HTA framework
  • Seeking opportunities for evidence generation to demonstrate value for payers
  • Driving the value-based healthcare strategy within the HTA as new ways of accessing value
  • Engaging actively with stakeholders and co-creating solutions to ensure access to patients
  • Ensuring public policy needs are in place to unleash the access strategy
  • Developing and disseminating the Value Messages to Payers for the reimbursement purpose
  • Driving strategic discussions, in a matrix-environment, ensuring payers voices are integrated
  • Ensuring the customers voice (payers and the relevant healthcare ecosystem stakeholders) is brought into the teams
  • Providing an in-depth expertise of HTA and flexible pricing solutions framework
  • Engaging and Negotiating with the Global teams the local access strategy
  • This position sits in the Market Access & External Affairs Direction, reports to National Value Strategy Lead.

    Who You Are

    You are someone who has an innovative and growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and want to have an impact on access to medicines for patients to achieve better outcomes in a timely manner.

    For this position, you bring the following :

  • Background in Business, Economics, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sciences or degree in other areas of science or health.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in HTA or equivalent roles related to market access and / or outcomes research.
  • Deep understanding of the HTA framework and HC Systems Capabilities
  • Experience in establishing relevant relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that adds value to the business
  • Strong communication and Influencing skills
  • Focused on collaboration : works for the cross-functional team success
  • Curious and always looking for innovation opportunities in his / her area of interest
  • Focus on continuous improvement towards bringing better outcomes to more patients faster
  • Ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment with shared accountability and responsibilities
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English
