Job Description :

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT MARKETING STRATEGIES THROUGH VARIOUS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MEDIUMS :

  • Develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives;
  • Demonstrate effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organisation;
  • Execute marketing initiatives through various channels (email, online, print, online, etc.) to promote brand awareness;
  • Articulate product and service offerings, key benefits and messages.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing initiatives
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Liaison with media and advertising
  • Maintain company identity CI collateral in line with group standards
  • Stays abreast of market trends within the ICT industry
  • CREATE A LASTING IMPRESSION OF THE ORGANISATION’S BRAND IN THE MARKET PLACE :

  • Ensure that all Bytes MS branding is current and maintained.
  • Design, develop and implement company standard proposals, presentations and bid templates and apply to all company bids.
  • Compile tender and bid documents with appropriate corporate standard information and branding.
  • IMPROVE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION THROUGH MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS :

  • Conduct marketing surveys existing and new customers.
  • Implement new and creative marketing strategies that will make an impact, support the brand and improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
  • CREATE INTERNAL AWARENESS AND EXTERNAL REPRESENTATION OF THE ORGANISATION THROUGH IMPLEMENTING EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES :

  • Internal communication : Document and plan various internal staff campaigns and obtain final approval from Exco before executing activities.
  • Focus must be given to communicating our new strategy.

  • Internal communication : Successes, newsletter, Information i.e. communicating policy relating to company fraud to all staff, Announcements, etc.
  • UNDERSTAND THE INTRICACIES OF THE BRAND, IDENTITY TARGET AUDIENCE, CREATE EVENT CONCEPT AND EFFECTIVELY PLAN ALL EVENTS :

  • Manage all internal and external functions within agreed scope and budget.
  • Manage Information Content of Bytes Managed Solutions Internet & Intranet sites
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
  • IMPROVE AND STREAMLINE ADMINISTRATION FUNCTIONS :

  • Planning and coordination of administrative procedures and processes;
  • Ensure adequate flow of information through the organisation;
  • Manage and provide administrative support to Business Development.
  • CUSTOMER FOCUSED PEOPLE LEADERSHIP :

  • Ensure that employees have clear and understood work / role descriptions, targets and goals to perform their functions, and that client needs and requirements are integrated into all work related practices;
  • Ensure that employees have the right resources, skills, tools, equipment, and information to successfully execute on their responsibilities;
  • Effectively manage employee performance and create opportunities for them to gain the competence for the work required and to grow.
  • Proactively align future talent needs through effective succession planning and capacity building initiatives (i.e. development programmes, training, mentorship, coaching etc.
  • and advise employees on career opportunities and the requirements to achieve personal growth; and

  • Align with the company BBBEE strategy and ensure all targets and deliverables are met.
  • Manage all internal and external touchpoints for effective brand representation, including, but not limited to :
  • o websites

    o Marketing brochures, leaflets, booklets

    o Group advertising campaigns

    Job Requirements :

  • QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
  • Educational Qualifications :

  • Relevant Bachelor / Honours degree in Marketing or Corporate Communications.
  • At least 7 years proven experience in Marketing and Communications Management
  • Marketing or Communications related Degree or equivalent professional Qualification
  • Developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of IT Services business
  • Sound Business & Financial Acumen
  • Possess good communication written and verbal and presentation skills
  • Possess good organisational skills
  • Ability to manage people and work as a team
  • Creativity
  • Good decision making / problem solving skills
  • Flexibility
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
