Job requirements :

  • Engineering Degree Mechanical or Civil (non-negotiable)
  • Project Management qualification (desirable)
  • 4-7 years relevant engineering experience within a medium to large corporate business environment
  • QHSE knowledge, specifically ISO Compliance
  • Job responsibilities :

  • Management of all business functions along with Business Line GM’s and reporting to Board of Directors and on Monthly basis
  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial and business objectives
  • Performing Risk Assessments, process documentation, Internal Audit reviews and Reporting on internal control environments
  • Managing all Business processes including Finance, Treasury, Assets and Inventory, Supply Chain and Logistics to provide outstanding services to all Segment and business management to ensure legal entity optimization
  • Ensure company ISO compliance
  • Budget Preparation, tracking and driving execution at all levels within the company
  • Ensure we are at all times in compliance with our mandatory BBBEE aspects of our business and we remain within the comforts of our BBBEE goals
  • Ad-Hoc duties as required by the Regional Director
  • Ensure that all projects and staff are managed efficiently and effectively
  • Individual Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment
  • Apply our Company’s Group and where appropriate Client’s Health, Safety & Environment Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure that all Quality and Operational Procedures as identified our Company’s QA Manuals are always adhered to

  • Essential Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree Mechanical or Civil (non-negotiable)
  • Project Management qualification (desirable)
  • Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge

  • 4-7 years relevant engineering experience within a medium to large corporate business environment
  • QHSE knowledge, specifically ISO Compliance
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Sound administration skills and attention to detail
  • Professional and good communication skills
  • Be able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines
  • Commercial and Financial Accumen
  • Project Management Skills
  • BBBEE compliance knowledge
  • Forecasting and budgetary skills
  • Specific Requirements / Additional information

  • Senior Management experience
  • Experience of using computer-based accounting systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience of Microsoft NAVision an advantage.
  • Ability to deal with a wide range of people internally and externally to the business
