Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility The position report directly to the Technical Director Keep abreast of organizational issues and have a good understanding of the organizational aims and objectives Assure discreet handling of all business Primary Activities / Results Handle delegated routine correspondence private and confidential matters Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments Arranging both in-

house and external events Controls of booking and using of Kopanong Training center to ensure orderly use Attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes Complete local and international expense claim forms for processing Ensure that all necessary bookings are made and confirmed and that all necessary travel documents and cheques / foreign exchange are on hand.

Arrange pick up and return transport as per itinerary Maintain attendance register for Our Manufacturing Division building & ensure absenteeism monthly metrics are done Bookings for visitor’s accommodation and transfer are arranged with prior notice Being part of the Tier 2 walkthroughs and have a knowledge of what is happening & reporting back to the Director Re -

route all urgent matters to the relevant person in the absence of Technical Director Update Our Manufacturing Division Organograms Ensure posters in Kopanong are updated.

Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies Make orders on SAP and receipt Arrange amenities as needed Take part in any administrative meetings to assure secretarial follow-

through Managing and reviewing filing and office system Adminstration of Learning items and Curricula within Our Manufacturing Division through the myLearning system as the Learning Administrator Qualifications Qualifications / skills Matric plus PA Diploma MS office package Good verbal and communication skills At least 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical environment & MS office work is able to use search engines on the internet.

Experience required Ability to prioritize and handle pressure Highest ethical standard and confidentiality Exhibit a methodological and organized work routine, but flexible enough to adapt to change Familiarity with Pharmaceutical and production terms would be an added advantage Ability to work in cross functional team Communication skills Your role at MSD is integral to helping the world meet new breakthroughs that affect generations to come, and we’re counting on your skills and inventiveness to help make meaningful contributions to global medical advancement.
