NEW WORLD PERSONNEL requires a LABORATORY MANAGER to head up the Quality Assurance Division of a fruit processing company in the Ceres area.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE LEVELS REQUIRED : B.Sc. Food Science Bio Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Food Science Food Technology or similar Commercial Laboratories experience would be an advantage.

Relevant management experience in the food manufacturing industry. Proven success record with excellent management and communication skills.

An analytical approach towards quality. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE : Management of the Company’s Laboratory (Chemistry / Micro) and the staff of the division.

Quality control, assurance and the establishment of Good Laboratory Practices. Ensure compliance with the FSSC system. Determination and administration of budget, calibration schedules and LIMS system.

Monitoring and administration of test results as well as their verification. Salary offered : Negotiable experience related.
