Marketing : defining, marketing and protecting the Standard Bank brand across our business including specialist advice and activity for specific countries and business units.
Responsible for the project management of marketing communication activities briefed to our internal design studio.
Day-to-day relationship management with all stakeholders (internal and external to enable delivery of all projects and initiatives within agreed timescales, quality and budget.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Project management :
Day-to-day project management of development, production and execution of business collateral
Takes briefs from internal stakeholders and translate them into design and production briefs
Briefs and debriefs in writing to designers, timeously
Ensures all studio briefings yield relevant and original solutions efficiently
Sets the context of his / her portfolio : knowing what type of collateral element is required and understanding of business wants, if these differ
Ensures creative work aligns to the bank’s visual language
Key performance measures :
Accurate interpretation and insightful interrogation of the client brief / business requirements
Effective day-to-day studio management & relationships
Writing effective briefs and debriefs
Ensure appropriate sign off of all required project documents and administration requirements
Ensures all collateral complies with brand standards
Prepares timing plans on all projects / briefs
Reports on status of projects.
Obtains production quotes
Preferred Qualification and Experience
2 to 5 years experience as a client service manager in an agency
Knowledge / Technical Skills / Expertise
Matric plus formal tertiary qualification in Marketing or Design or Production
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the design and production process
Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
Formal project management qualification
Design experience would be an advantage
