KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES : Duties & ResponsibilitiesFollows regulatory practices and rulesPromotes hazard reporting and ensures effective safety reportingModels and promotes an organisational culture that fosters safety practices through effective leadershipProvides and articulates information regarding safety issues within the organisationAssists in the continuous improvement of the hazard identification and safety risk assessment schemesEnvironment, Security and Building maintenanceIdentify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practicesPerform safety audits and inspect facilities and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation complianceConduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipmentInvestigate industrial accidents, near-
