Job purpose :
Accounting and financial function, including bookkeeping, debtors and creditors, payroll
reconciliations, monthly management accounts and reporting.
Responsibilities (not limited to) :
Monthly management accounts and compilation of full management reports
Monthly Accounting and capturing on MDA property manager
Full Creditors function : Collection of invoices, obtaining approvals, loading of payments and capturing.
Full Debtors function : Monthly billing, utility and ad hoc recoveries, tenant queries and debtor collection.
VAT Returns - Reconciliation and Submission
Resolution of creditor and debtor queries.
Payroll and Human Resources : Monthly payroll, EMP & UIF Returns, drafting of employment contracts,
Assisting tenants / debtors with queries and reconciliations on accounts.
Loading lease agreements on MDA and ensure that information is captured correctly.
Periodical lease audits.
FICA and ITC checks for tenants.
Accounting qualification and completed articles
At least 3years experience in a similar role
Great attention to detail and must be able to multitask
Working with deadlines and urgency will be required
Proficient in MS Office and MDA Property Management would count in your favor
